Morning Satori

Sitting at the intersection of Klaragasse and Vondere Sterngasse in Nuremberg, across the street from Ultra Comix, where my oldest boy is playing his Mechwarrior game. I'm really proud of his willingness to just jump in among a bunch of foreign strangers, united only by the common language of Nerd.

Meanwhile his siblings are browsing Ultra Comix and his parents are waiting at this odd little café. At least it seems like a café, it has tables and you can get coffee and tea. But when you pay they just hold out a piggy bank for donations, and it looks more like a lounge or reading room. Its sign reads 'Haus der Stadtkirche,' with 'Fenster zur Stadt on its awnings. I suspect its some kind of Christian reading room.

Whatever the case, it makes for a fine place to sit and people-watch, cool and shady with a slight breeze. Nobody seems to care if we sit here all day.

Next to Ultra Comix is a 'head shop,' and I caught a picture of a police car which stopped for a visit. Things must have been in order because it left without incident.

We'll see what come next, but for now it's nice just to sit here and enjoy the weather and the sightseeing and the chance to just do nothing for a while...
